Almost Home Distributes 650 Coats

The 2017 coat drive was a huge success with Almost Home distributing nearly 650 coats to those in need in our community. Many thanks to our lead volunteer, Doris Snider Schwartz for rounding up volunteers and working for several days to organize & implement this event. It was a HUGE undertaking so we appreciate all of your help. Also, thank you to Joel Schwartz with Safway Scaffolding for putting up all the scaffolding to hold all the coats that were collected, we truly appreciate your donation of time, labor and equipment. Coats were distributed to those in our community that stopped by the event, Ugly Quilts (they will use all the adult coats to distribute to five different shelters in Denver) and the Boys & Girls Clubs in both Brighton and Fort Lupton.
